East Central 7 MMEA All-District Jr. High Band will be an auditioned band in 2017-2018
Washington, MO - November 14, 2016 - In an effort to improve the quality of music education and create a better transition for our middle school students, the East Central #7 All-District Jr. High Band will move from a nomination-based band to an auditioned band for the 2017-2018 school year.
A committee of East Central #7 band directors will be created to develop policies, procedures and audition music for the 2017-18 school year. Auditions will be held in October and the band will perform on the Saturday following the first Tuesday in November.
Schools must be a full member or an affiliate member of MSHSAA to participate in the audition process. Questions regarding MSHSAA eligibilty should be directed to your Activities Director.
